                  Fall Hunts

Labrador West is situated near the largest caribou herd in the world. These animals number about 800,000 and growing. Each year the caribou migrate to this area for their winter-feeding area and each year hunters are able to access this migration of caribou with the use of trucks. The months of November and up until the end of December are good time to get your trophy animal. Then starting in January we use trucks and snowmobiles in search of these animals. Labrador Adventures & Outfitting Ltd. will do everything possible to make your trip a successful and an enjoyable one. Non-resident caribou hunters are entitled to two (2) Caribou per license. The caribou migrate south to their winter feeding grounds, here in Labrador west . Starting this season we will also be offering wolf hunting, wolf packs follow the caribou as they travel southward. Wolves have seen very light hunting pressure in this area. We are able to accommodate bow hunters, black powder, musket and rifle hunters.

Fall Hunts

We are offering a fall caribou hunt which will include guide, meals and lunches, accommodations for 3 days and 3 nights   (there is a requirement that you have 1 guide for every 2 hunters). This hunt will be based on the migration of caribou and will be on a call basis. After paying a 30% deposit to confirm your booking. You will be notified in advance of the caribou migration for preparations for your hunt. During the past 5 years this has been the practice of Labrador Adventures & Outfitting Ltd. and most our hunters have been successful. We know that by doing it this way, it gives the hunter the greatest chance of success. For Non-Resident hunters traveling to Canada you will need to obtain a form to bring you gun into Canada, you can download the form from this site:
