MNSC Celebrates Beckie Scott Day!

We had a fantastic Beckie Scott Day with loads of young skiers and a beautiful sunny Labador blue sky day at -11C. The front of the lodge was decorated with a very artistic large snow sculpture created by Doug Gover. This beautiful sculpture contains the Olympic rings, an inset ski racer, a snow framed picture of Beckie Scott and her name carved across the bottom of the Sculpture.

The young skiers started off with a warm up ski down Vello's Trail followed by races. Each skier involved received a participation ribbon and a poster. After a few pictures with the snow sculpture everyone headed inside and watched a video of the days events while enjoying hotdogs and cake.
