Meika is a 13yr female Siberia Husky.  My parents raised her but couldn't handle her hyper spaztic personality so I took her in 6 years ago.  Can you fathom anyone wanting to put this cutie to sleep!?  Me neither so I took her when I bought my first house.

Meika spends her days outside in the back yard, watching the neighbourhood.  She loves the outdoors and lives for snow.  At 13, she's slowed down quite a bit in the last year or so - now in her golden years.  She's quite the digger, buth the only time she digs now is when she gets a really good bone that's too tough and needs to be hidden in the moist dirt.  At the latest house, she has a gravel driveway to hang out on with only grass along the edges (she still finds spots to dig & bury the pig's ears).... the white stuff is fur from plucking her shedding coat (the neighbours thought their cat had been in a fight with all the fluff in the driveway)!
