HUNTING

Caribou

This caribou was taken with 50 Caliper musket in early December. You can use Musket High powered rifle or Bow/arrow .It will be entirely your choice.
The caribou hunted in Labrador belong to the largest herd in the world - The George River Herd - numbering approximately 700,000 animals. Our package includes three days of Hunting in the care of our professional guides. Acceptable methods of hunting include Rifle ( 243 caliber minimum ), Bow (45 lb. at peak of draw minimum ) and black powder. Combination Rifle and Bow hunts are also acceptable.

We have been very successful in a maintaining a high Success Rate On Two Caribou Per Hunter over the years  This caribou made the SCI records.

" CARIBOU are usually plentiful during the winter "

LARGE NUMBERS OF CARIBOU DURING THE WINTER HUNT TO CHOOSE FROM

We have maintained a high success rate on two caribou per hunter during our winter hunts. This is made possible due to the large number of caribou that winter in our hunting areas year after year without fail. Sometimes the caribou are harder to access so we have to use snowmobiles to assist us.
